About the work

I've always loved the drive into my family's home state of Louisiana. The passage into the Mississippi Delta lets me know I'm almost there. The flat lands spread as far as the eye can see and fertile crops seem to spring up in every direction. This impressionistic landscape painting features a beautiful analogous color scheme that stirs the imagination.
