About the work

I photographed this scene at golden hour on a summer's evening in Malibu, California. As I gazed down the coastline, I was mesmerized by the dreamy, effervescent glow of the light in the air and upon the sea as the sun illuminated the early evening mist. I decided that the beauty of the moment would be best brought to life by stripping away the color and releasing this piece exclusively in a timeless, classic monochromatic palette.
