About the work

This depiction of a sliced-in-half peach highlights the graphic shape, color and layers of the fruit; round with a textured pit in the center. I'm originally from Atlanta, Georgia, so the peach also sort of serves as a symbol of home. Cut-up construction paper and glue were used to make the image.
