Capturing the energy in the explosion of a wave cresting. Shot off the side of a boat in some turbulent waters.Everything I love in watching the waves. A peak, a crash, then peaceful waters for a few moments. Then do it again. Each wave is unique. So many of us love the water. It's a place to just watch and be...with something more grand than ourselves. We are the water planet, after all.

It's the magic in nature that speaks to me. With my photography, I try and capture the simplicity of the moment found in the beauty of the natural world. I live at 1100 feet on a mountain in Washington, surrounded by trees and flowers. I also love to travel and be at the ocean. I am constantly inspired and restored by the beauty of nature.
