About the work
This is part of a series of floral pen and ink drawings. Using a bamboo pen, I wanted to explore the fluidity of ink while trying to capture the essence of a bouquet of wild flowers. I chose the minimal palette of blue and white to keep the focus on the expressive, calligraphic lines.
