About the work

This picture is part of a larger collection showing the beautiful landscapes of Iceland. When taking this picture I was fascinated by the amazing colours in the landscape of Landmannalaugar. The diversity in colours and shades is so amazing from golden, beige to greens and grey tones. On top of that there are great textures form the rocks, the lava and ice. In the middle of this landscape the light golden foots of the mountains arise. Here I capture this beautiful colourplay.
