About the work

This piece is a collage made from painted papers. It shows an abstract picture of the enlarged cross-section of the imaginary mineral. It pairs with the "abstract geological form I" which is a picture of this imaginary mineral. I'm fascinated by the geological creations of nature. I find their colors, forms, and textures remarkable. I just wanted to create one of them too on my own.
