About the work

Cats in movement. Quick ink sketches after neighbour cats. Observing the cats is a well know activity of drawers across art history. They move with an armony and elegance that capture the eyes of the artists. You can not predict how long they will stay lying or cleaning their paws, as curious they are, always hearing something around. So most of the sketches stay unfinished, maybe leaving this feeling of awareness and movement to the sketches.
