Rows No. 1 was inspired by a visit to a local art museum that had a fascinating exhibit of Australian Aboriginal art. I loved the colorful textures and graphic patterns, and tried to capture that essence in this oil painting.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Growing up on the Alberta prairies, living many years in coastal northern California, and now calling the Utah mountains home, I have a deep love of nature and the stunning vistas that inspire my work. With a BFA in Illustration, I’ve spent the past twenty five years raising four fantastic daughters and trying to find as much time as possible to paint. I work primarily in oils, and am constantly snapping photos to inspire future projects.
