As the sun set over the city of Rome, the light hit the Coliseum and it's true magnificence was revealed. The angles and smooth curves of the architecture played off each other creating a truly beautiful arena. I tried to capture this beauty from the streets below, looking up at this marvel of engineering as the Romans of the past once did.
