About the work

This picture is part of a larger collection showing the beautiful landscapes of Iceland. When taking this picture I was fascinated by the amazing colours in the landscape of Landmannalaugar. The diversity in colours and shades is so amazing from golden, beige to greens and grey and black tones. The dark black lava forms a wonderful contrast with the coloured mountains and ice on the background. Here I capture this landscape full of amazing contrasts.
