This abstract diptych was inspired by the rolling oak woodlands of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern California. This view of the oak trees was inspired by all many of my hiking trails when the trees are silvery green and grasses are yellowish-brown.

Using acrylic paint on canvas, Caryn creates abstract landscapes, abstract botanicals, or pure abstract expressionist paintings focusing primarily on color rather than form in her studio in Santa Cruz, California.
