This piece is a loose watercolor sketch of the natural surroundings in my backyard. This leaf study carries a slightly playful tone, which is heightened by the bright colors and dancing roots. Tangle, is part of a watercolor sketch series in which I focus on the more imagined elements, rather than what my eye is actually seeing.
