About the work
One of a series of landscape studies. The magic of the mountains takes on another feel at sunrise. The clouds turn pink and gold and shine through the mountain mist. You feel your place among the sky as the new day begins. My goal with this series was to bring my two favorite things together. I wanted to get out into the mountains and paint.
