About the work

This picture is part of a larger collection showing the beautiful landscapes of Iceland. When taking this picture I was intrigued by the immense size and beauty of the icebergs of the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón. The tonal stripes and shades of grey, black and white on this floating iceberg, the sky and the sea make them very special. My eyes are always looking for beauty and patterns everywhere. Here I captured a wonderful striped piece of design by nature.
