About the work
One of a series of landscape studies. The playful feeling of the mountains and the adventures they promise remain while the details belong to memory. All color is lost in the shadows and you feel your place among the sky. My goal with this series was to bring my two favorite things together. I wanted to get out into the mountains and paint.
