My intention was to capture that peaceful feeling you get during a quiet day by the sea. This piece was inspired by those calm coastal moments. The soft murmur of waves and the wide-open sky stretching out forever. My process started with creating a sense of calm vastness. I used really fluid washes, letting soft creams and blues flow across the canvas.
