About the work

In 2016, I went on a solo road trip across the USA and back. It totaled over 11,000 miles of driving and I visited 29 states. Among my favorite photos are those taken in the desert. This is one of the first photos I took while driving east through the California desert. To add a bit of whimsy, I added 3 colored lines that accentuate the barren landscape.
