This landscape is a representation of relationships, where we begin on solid ground with our eyes set on a promising horizon. Along the way, inevitably gaps open up - broken spaces - the places we must fill in together, in order to continue. Making this metaphor visible in a painted form reminds us that there's no such thing as an easy journey when it comes to love.
