This abstract acrylic painting takes a modern spin on landscape art. This colorful abstract piece was inspired by the Southern California beaches in Malibu. Many beached in Malibu have these lovely wide stretches of sand. The pink in this painting represents the wide sand beaches which contrasts with the blue of the Pacific.

Using acrylic paint on canvas, Caryn creates abstract landscapes, abstract botanicals, or pure abstract expressionist paintings focusing primarily on color rather than form in her studio in Santa Cruz, California.
