The full moon shining in the sky. Open for the imagination to take flight. The moon shining at bedtime is a constant for children, month in and month out, and makes them feel safe, and snuggly, and loved. I took this photo on a sailing trip in the San Juan Islands in Washington State.

It's the magic in nature that speaks to me. With my photography, I try and capture the simplicity of the moment found in the beauty of the natural world. I live at 1100 feet on a mountain in Washington, surrounded by trees and flowers. I also love to travel and be at the ocean. I am constantly inspired and restored by the beauty of nature.
