About the work
I was inspired by the strong bond between a mother whale and her calf and how that echoes the care that parents show to their children. I aimed to show the movement and flow of the water through lines and watercolor textures. I chose to use blue colors that would reflect the varied blues found in the sea.

I recently started to design and I am loving it! I am crazy for patterns and playful design. I'm blessed to be a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful children and I grab moments to focus on creating whenever I can.
