About the work
I grew up listening to classical music and drawing all of my favorite things. Now, I’m always seeking inspiration within the abstracts of nature and fantasy, seeing the beauty in the less obvious. I illustrated this digital painting using soft chalk to evoke the rhythm and playfulness of dancing Sugar Plum Fairies, such as in Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker.
