About the work
I’m always seeking inspiration within the abstracts of nature, seeing beauty in the less obvious. As newlyweds, my husband and I traveled to Colorado, seeking adventure across the Rockies from Aspen to Vail. I illustrated this digital painting using a soft dry brush to depict the winter mist surrounding the mountains amidst the setting sun, which cast a warm pink glow above the clouds of Vail mountain.
