About the work

When I see people in an old photograph, I always wonder who they were and what they thought. Who is the girl standing next to the road in the field, playing with a blade of grass? What is she dreaming about? I love that she has her back to the road and is not interested in either moving forward or going back. This work is about daydreaming, imagination, positive thinking, and optimism that make our daily life easier.
