I came across this girl and her dog at sunrise on a California shoreline. They had the beach and water to themselves and were enjoying this tranquil time together. I wanted to capture the friendship between this girl and her dog and the peaceful moment they shared. I loved the reflection of the early light from the tides and how it silhouetted them and their companionship from the sea.
