About the work

"Poolside" was inspired by the light patterns and movement that is created under water. This is part of a larger body of work that has been my main focus for the past year. Creating these water paintings is very meditative. I get lost in the process, just as I get lost watching light patterns as they dance around.

My inspiration comes from mid-century living, particularly the idyllic California lifestyle.
