About the work

This photo is a part of a larger minimalistic, black and white series of foggy images that I captured throughout the city of Richmond, Virginia. These images really emphasize the bold lines and shapes found within the city, while the fog incites a sense of mystery and lack of definition. My hope is that the viewer is encouraged to find beauty and comfort in the unknown, and develop a longing and desire for what the future holds, no matter how uncertain it is.
