The creation of "Inner Tides" was an intuitive journey through layers of indigo blues and soft pale pinks. By incorporating scraping and mark-making, I allowed glimpses of earlier layers to emerge, giving the abstract piece a feeling of history and depth. The way these hues interact and bleed together unveils surprising depths and a gentle sense of mystery, reflecting the constant ebb and flow of our inner thoughts and feelings.
