Sweeping brushstrokes, graffiti like squiggles, peeling paper all came together to make this a highly textural art piece. This piece is meant to have high contrast of colors. Each rectangle of color has its own marks and scrapes to draw the viewer in and out. Inspired by my passion for old urban brick building of long ago. I actually take photographs of them in small towns and replicate in my own way.
