About the work

This art print was inspired by the color palette of homes found on the Mediterranean sea coasts. I am always interested in abstracting a feeling or landscape into the simplest form- in this case it is in the form of squares. All of these small squares culminate together to create a flickering mosaic of peace and calm. It is my hope that this painting will communicate a sense of feeling, something complex and beautiful beyond just squares of color!
