About the work
I searched for the colors that made these peonies stand out on a cool spring evening. With a little late afternoon sun the delicate petals begin to curl for the darkness that is approaching. Each curve and crevice is shadowed with shades of blue, teal and greens to crate a sense of calm. The hints of clay and yellow bring a little warmth of of the sun for this soothing garden piece.
