Alison is originally from the midwest. She went on to graduate from Syracuse University majoring in the arts. She began her career working at a major greeting card company.Alison later transitioned into freelance design in New York City. After several years of freelance and corporate work she began experimenting with fine art, she realized that painting allowed her to express more creative freedom in a way she never had. With that, she began painting landscapes and abstracts. Her work is seen with Minted.com, West Elm, Pottery Barn Kids, CBS, and HGTV.
